The Safe Way Driving School has held current prices since July 2009.
Regrettably, since that time, Fuel prices have increased by 20%, Vehicle costs by 15% and Insurance by 10%.
Next year the government proposes to raise fuel duty by 5%, which will mean another rise in fuel costs of around 8% when VAT is added to the duty.
There is never a good time to announce a price increase but sadly we are forced to do so and the new prices will take effect from February 2012.
The new rate will be £24.00 per hour.
However, it’s not all bad news.
We currently offer discounts on pre-payment block bookings and beginner packages. Any bookings made in December and January 2012 will be at the current rates.
From February the discount rates offered for pre-payment bookings will be increased.
