A driver who has not driven for several years finds it very unnerving to face the higher volumes of traffic found on today's roads.

To help restore confidence and update driver skills we encourage the returning driver to enrol on our on-line theory training course. This ensures that they become familiar with changes in the highway code and the concept of Hazard Perception which may not have been a factor when they sat their driving test.

On the practical side, we take the driver out in the same way as we would a learner and coach them in order to recover driver skills and build confidence in their ability.

The course duration is not fixed and drivers will take as many sessions as they wish until they feel confident to drive independently again.

The driver may use a school car or opt for the sessions to be in their own vehicle.

Fees are £24.00 per hour
